Driver arrested for DUII after rear-ending OSP patrol car
An Oregon State Trooper was hurt after his patrol car was rear-ended at 2:20 a.m. Saturday on Crater Lake Avenue in Medford.
After attending to a disabled vehicle in the lane of travel, the trooper got back in his car right before the driver of the SUV rammed into the back of his car.
The driver was the sole occupant of the car, and was arrested for DUII and other charges, a release from the Oregon State Police said.
The driver of the SUV was uninjured, and the trooper went to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
