A close family friend of 29 year-old Ryan Folsom who died in Sunday's car crash on I-5 in Redding spoke about to News 10 about Ryan.

Ian Cropper says he was a very humble and respectable person who made anyone he was talking with feel welcomed.

Cropper says Ryan was finishing up medical school and was visiting different hospitals for potential residencies, before he was hit in the crash.

When asked about what memory he will hold on too about Ryan, Cropper says while there are many memories, he'll always remember how great of a story teller Ryan was.

Ryan is survived by his wife and two boys the age of four and two. He and his wife are expecting a third boy who is due in the next couple of weeks.

There is a GoFundMe account to help the family. If you would like to donate, click here.
