FBI seeks help in locating wanted Medford fugitive

The FBI is currently searching for a wanted fugitive convicted of distributing and possessing Methamphetamine.

On April 16, 2016, Alberto Hinojosa of Medford had pleaded guilty to possession and distributing 50 or more grams of Methamphetamine. A judge had set his sentencing date for April 12, 2017. On January 1, 2017, Hinojosa failed to return from a planned trip to Las Vegas.

On May 4, 2017, a grand jury indicted him for failing to appear in court and a warrant for his arrest was issued.

Hinojosa is described as Hispanic, brown eyes, black hair, 5 feet 11 inches, weighing 180 pounds, and has scars on his right calf and right finger.

His last known address was listed in Medford and is known to have family in Stockton, Calif. It is believed he has ties to Bakersfield, Calif.
