Authorities release names of victims in fatal motorcycle crash
Jackson County, Ore. —
Oregon State Police released the names of the victims involved in Tuesday night's fatal crash on Highway 140 near mile post 18 east of White City.
According to Oregon State Police, 69-year-old Michael A. Millette of Grants Pass was driving a 2003 Harley Davison failed to slow down with the speed of traffic.
Officers say, the Millete laid the motorcycle down and slid into the westbound lane hitting the guardrail.
Millete was pronounced dead on the scene.
The passenger in the crash was identified as Millet's wife, 66-year-old Virgina J. Millet also of Grants Pass. Virginia was taken to Rogue Regional Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.
