Fire destroys vacant home, cause under investigation

Grants Pass, Ore. — A late night fire destroyed a vacant home in rural Grants Pass.

According to Rural Metro Fire press release, firefighters responded to a fully engulfed house on Walker Road Tuesday night.

Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire avoiding any treat to nearby wildland areas.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
