Firefighters knock down 11 acre fire near Emigrant Lake

ASHLAND, Ore. — Firefighters knocked down an 11 acre fire off of Old Emigrant Creek Road in Ashland on Monday night.

Oregon Department of Forestry and assisting agencies have worked together to line the fire.

Initial ground attack had to work past obstacles including windy unkept roads in order to property stage.

Multiple structures (outbuildings) were near the fire, however, the condition of the outbuildings are unknown at this time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
