Graham Fire declared a conflagration

Graham Fire (Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Facebook page)

Governor Kate Brown has declared the Graham Fire a conflagration. That now allows for the state fire marshal to mobilize firefighters and equipment to assist local resources battling the flames.

The fire burns about three miles south of Billy Chinook.

The Office of State Marshal's Green Incident Management Team, along with two structural task forces from Clackamas and Washington counties, will arrive Friday morning to work on protecting structures.

An evacuation order for level three (leave) has been issued, but the Jefferson County Emergency Manager says it's unclear how many people have evacuated.

The fire has burned about 2,000 acres.
