A man in a truck fled from Washington state to Vancouver, B.C. without stopping for international travel processing, resulting in a police chase at the northern U.S. border, according to authorities.

The driver, now identified as 21-year-old Colin Wilson of Grants Pass, was driving a blue Ford pickup truck with Oregon plates when he bypassed the Peace Arch Border crossing Saturday morning. Border agents reported the incident, but Wilson refused to pull over, evading multiple police officers for miles.

Wilson was finally arrested by Vancouver police after a nearly 30 mile chase, once the truck collided with a Mazda sedan and crashed into the Rufus Drum Shop.

The 32-year-old man from Vancouver in the Mazda suffered minor injuries, according to reports.

Wilson now faces charges of dangerous driving and causing a police pursuit. He has no previous Oregon criminal history.
