Over the past two Saturdays, Medford's main post office had extended hours to make holiday shipping easier for customers.

This Saturday, cars packed the parking lot and a line filled the office.

"I was hoping to get in here are 8 o' clock when they opened but I was wrapping presents and I'm running a little late," USPS customer Kim Bell said as she waited in line. "So it's very busy right now. Very busy."

If you want your gifts to be delivered by Christmas Eve, the deadline to ship via first class mail is Dec. 19 according to the USPS.

If you're shipping priority, be sure to get your packages out by Dec. 20.
