13 people are listed on an eviction notice for a Hornbrook property owned by Hornbrook Charitable Non-Profit, Inc.

According to some people listed, they did not receive the eviction notice when the President of HCN, Virginia Pelsor, says they were noticed back in November.

"Nobody said anything more about it other than to other people that we were squatting - I don't live here, I'm not squatting," Merle Hanson, Jr., who is listed on the eviction notice, said.

Pelsor said last week that this past Saturday was the last day anybody could be on the property. Pelsor said she used a private attorney to serve the notices.

According to the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office, any evictions have to go through them at some point in the process. When asked, Sheriff Lopey says he did not see anything with the first named person on the eviction notice.

According to the Siskiyou County Assessor's Office, Hornbrook Chairtable Non-Profit, Inc is the owner of the property in question in Hornbrook.
