The new system called "Live Scan" allows JCSO to electronically capture the a person's finger prints and print them out on a card of directly to the state.

It will also end the process of submitting a separate check made payable to Oregon State Police for concealed handgun licenses. The fee will remain the same at $15 but will now include the fee for the license and will take effect on Monday, November 13th.

Concealed Handgun License fees must be submitted via cash, money order, or cashier's check. The fees are as follows:

  • New Application: $65.00
  • Renewal Application: $50.00
  • Transfer from another County with expired license: $65
  • Transfer from another County with current license: $30
  • Replacement card (address/name change, lost etc): $15
