Man stabbed after fight; 'armed & dangerous' suspect outstanding
Mt. Shasta Police are hoping the public can help them locate 48-year-old Michael Lee Wilson who is wanted for 'attempted murder' following a stabbing over the weekend.
Police say officers responded to the 200 block of Sheldon Avenue on Saturday night and located 36-year-old Jaime Miller with a stab wound. Miller was bleeding from his chest but was able to tell police that Wilson had threatened him the night before and said that he was "going to get him."
Miller told Police that Wilson came to his house on Saturday at roughly 10:35 p.m. and challenged him to fight. According to police, Miller went outside and after the two started fighting, Wilson produced a knife and stabbed Miller in the chest area.
Miller was transported to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police consider Wilson 'armed and dangerous'. He is 5'10", 215 pounds. Police advise the public to not approach Wilson but call Mt. Shasta Police Department at 530-926-7540.
