Medford Center unveils new plans for shopping center
MEDFORD, Ore.-- A Medford shopping center will soon undergo a renovation--costing millions.
LBG Real Estate Companies plans to invest more than $10 million into the Medford Center, adding more than 30,000 square feet of new retailers, restaurants, breweries and outdoor seating. This area will be rebranded as the Village at Medford center.
Some new tenants have also signed leases including the DMV, Willamette Valley Bank, World of Insurance and the Collaborative Theatre Project. Those are all intended to open between July and the end of 2016.
LBG said it is also in discussion with a number of other retailers, restaurants and breweries. It said these improvements will help make the Medford Center the premier restaurant and entertainment destination.
Managing Partner David Goldman said they have begun focusing on aligning the shopping center with many of the values that encompass the community--such as the local arts, music and food located throughout the area.
It plans to finish the transformation by the end of 2017, with construction beginning as early as this year.
