MEDFORD-- City council voted unanimously to approve Randy Sparacino as Medford Police Chief Thursday night.

Sparacino has served as interim Police Chief since January.

Sparacino was hired as a bike cadet in 1990 by Medford Police, and was hired as a sworn police officer in 1994. For the last six years, he has served as Deputy Chief of the Administrative and Technical Service Bureau.
