Compassion Highway Project is asking for the communities help this month. The non-profit is collecting boys and girls underwear, leggings and sweats for Howard Elementary School in Medford. Melissa Mayne, CEO of Compassion Highway Project said the need is big in the Rogue Valley. They just want to help each student feel a little more confident.

" Out of 10 kids in Jackson County are homeless, that's huge, that's a huge number," said Mayne. "And there's twelve hundred students that are homeless all together in Jackson County that they counted altogether. that 200 more than last year."

The organization is looking for the following sizes:

Boys and girls size 4-5 up to 16-18 (new items only.)

Collections will be accepted the whole month of February at La Strada, 19 Rossanly Dr, in Medford and The Rink, 1349 Center Dr, in Medford.
