One couple escapes the Klamathon fire after saying "I Do"

One couple from Chico, California wasn't going to let the Klamathon Fire ruin their wedding day on Saturday in Hornbrook, California.

Ellie and Taylor Denney their wedding short because the flames were getting closer and closer.

The couple had their ceremony at the Bride's father's cabin in Hornbrook before they had just moments to evacuate.

They says even though there was a wildfire going on, they'll never forget the special moments they had.

"It's nerve wracking to watch fire come at you, and so needless to say we were just going to do our ceremony as quick as possible. I was standing up there and my dad stop the whole thing and said no, I am walking you down the aisle," The Bride, Ellie Denney said.

On Saturday, the fire was burning 22-thousand acres, so the couple decided to have their reception at a hotel.

Sunday morning, they found out a strike team was able to save the property. They'll be heading back home to Chico on Monday.
