Police ID woman found dead in cove along Oregon Coast
LINCOLN CITY, Ore. - The woman found dead Sunday in a cove north of God's Thumb on the Oregon Coast has been identified, Oregon State Police said.
Tips to a hotline helped investigators identified the deceased as 63-year-old Satin Fever Star of Lincoln City. She was also known as Kahrin Jean McDonald.
State police and the Coast Guard recovered her body Sunday and made a public appeal for help identifying her.
Police said Star was last seen February 11.
"The investigation remains active but at this time there is no known threat to the community and her death does not appear suspicious," state police said. "The Oregon State Police would like to thank everyone who called the tip-line."
