Police respond to fatal motorcycle vs. vehicle accident

Medford Police say the family of the motorcyclist who died in the fatal accident Saturday family has been notified.

The motorcyclist has been identified as Justin D. Rollins, 44.


Medford Police are responding to a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on N. Phoenix road in south east Medford.

Police say the motorcyclist has died from their injuries.

The driver was not transported to the hospital, and is cooperating with police during the investigation.

MPD said it appears that the driver made a left turn in front of the motorcyclist.

According to witnesses, it did not appear that either driver was speeding or impaired. However, this is an ongoing investiagtion and police have not yet determined the cause of the accident.

Police said the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
