Police search for man charged with attempted aggravated murder

A search is underway for a man who police say was involved in the shooting at a storage unit in Harbor in December.

Curry County Sheriff's Office say Washington state native Lucas Randall DeYoung, 36, is wanted for his alleged involvement after a man was shot twice and survived his injuries.

A local arrest warrant was issued for DeYoung after he was charged with attempted aggravated murder, attempted murder, delivery of a controlled substance, and unlawful manufacture of marijuana.

On January 26, 2018,On February 1, 2018, a federal arrest warrant was issued for DeYoung in the United States District Court, District of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon, after he was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Deputies say DeYoung is known to use illegal drugs and carry firearms. He is also a known gambler.

DeYoung has a scar on his left finger and tattoos on his back and right shoulder. He is a white male, 190 pounds, 6'1", with brown hair and brown eyes.

DeYoung may have travelled to Washington State, Virginia, or Las Vegas, Nevada.
