Police are cautioning business owners that a repeat burglar is likely roaming Medford's streets.

They believe the culprit is targeting businesses with no alarm or surveillance systems.

In Medford, there have been 17 business burglaries within the last month alone. Police say it's likely that one party is responsible for all of the robberies because of similarities between the cases.

Police say surveillance systems are a huge help when it comes to solving robberies, and encourage all businesses to invest in one.

"A few hundred bucks for a pretty good surveillance system seems to be a small price to pay to be able to protect that business," said Medford Police Sgt. Antley. "Or at least have some evidence to give to police."
