Residents speechless after their return home
KLAMATH RIVER COUNTY ESTATES , Cal. —
Well over all 100 residents from Klamath River County Estates made their return home last night and this morning.
Residents are being allowed back in through a National Guard entry point on Ager Beswick and Ager Road.
Howard and Raven Weiss were among the lucky residents who returned to see their home still intact.
They say they’re beyond appreciative for all the work our fire crews and community crews have done.
“(Howard)I didn’t realize how attached I was to the house are the area and the neighborhood and so coming back was just an incredible feeling of euphoria and relief.” (Raven) “And you know it’s back to normal. We’ve got the main, we’ve got UPS, the trash truck went by,” said the Weiss.
However, they are home on an evacuation warning.
Meaning they could be asked to evacuated once more at a moment’s notice.
