A plane crashed in Montague, California Saturday evening after reports of gear issues, the Siskiyou County Sheriff Office says.

Officials say the pilot attempted to land at 5:04 PM Saturday, but there were issues with landing gear.

The plane clipped a power line and crashed into a field.

The sheriff's office says three people were on board of the plane. All three managed to get out of the plane with minor injuries.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) were notified and will continue to investigate the incident.
