Students from Pennsylvania help build local homes
Students traveled to Weed, California from University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Pennsylvania.
Habitat for Humanity, a service organization allowing them to go out and build homes around the country.
This is the first summer trip U.P.J. has ever taken in history and it's the first time the students have ever been to California.
"I love this organization. I have such a passion for it. It just means so much to me to help other people and I think this organization is the one where you can impact someone's life" Junior, Holly Chappie said.
The students started working on houses on Monday and will continue until Friday.
