SUV hits power pole; victims sustain serious injuries
UPDATE (March 26th at 4:00 p.m.)
The occupants of the SUV have been identified by the Josephine County Sheriff's Office as James Evans, 27, and Chad Hancock, 29.
Both occupants were taken to a Medford-area hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities say speed and alcohol are suspected factors in the crash.
This incident is still under investigation, according to the JoCo Sheriff's Office.

An SUV was driven into a power pole along Cheney Creek Road in Wilderville on Monday evening.
Rural Metro Fire and AMR responded to the single-vehicle crash near Fir Canyon at 5:40 p.m.
The vehicle landed on its side in the roadway. One of the occupants was ejected during the crash and the other was able to remove themselves.
According to Rural Metro Fire, both patients sustained serious injuries and were transported to a Medford-area hospital.
One patient was air-lifted via Mercy Flights.
The Josephine County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
