TIGARD, Ore. – Tigard police responded to a report of an assault with a weapon early Wednesday morning.

Police say two couples were arguing at a bar near Southwest 130th Avenue and Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and were asked to leave.

As they were leaving, police say a woman in one vehicle leaned out of the window and shot at another car with a shotgun.

Investigators say the woman in the other car was hit and injured, but is expected to survive.

Police saw the suspect vehicle drive down Southwest Nimbus Avenue before the man who was driving and the woman who was his passenger took off running.

Officers captured the woman right away and apprehended the man at around 5:50 a.m. following a search.
