Veterans get big welcome home from trip

World War II and Korean War veterans are returning home after a trip to Washington D.C.

They got an all paid expense trip through Honor Flight, and were taken to visit the monuments dedicated to their service.

It was a trip that brought father pair, Ernie and Jim Gallo.

Ernie served in the Navy during World War II and was shipmates with President Gerald Ford.

More than 150 family members and residents cheered on as the vets walked through the airport.
