Raiders Cap off Perfect Regular Season, 24-10 over Tech

Southern Oregon University Football (Al Case)

Tanner Trosin's connection with receiver Matt Boudreaux was on-point as #5 Southern Oregon University defeated #22 Montana Tech, 24-10 to finish the season 10-0.

Trosin eclipsed the 300 yard passing mark with his two touchdown passes finding Boudreaux.

The SOU defense made four huge stops of the Orediggers offense inside the 10 yard-line to prevent multiple potential scoring attempts.

To put the icing on the cake, Rey Vega took a long 3rd and 3 yard scenario late in the game for an 81 yard touchdown run which capped off the scoring for SOU.

Boudreaux caught two touchdown passes and hauled in 179 yards receiving. Vega finished with 121 rushing yards on 14 carries.

The double-digit win total joins only the 2014 and 2015 SOU programs as teams finishing the regular season with at least 10 wins.

The NAIA will announce the postseason playoff bracket on Sunday at 2 p.m.
