The Southern Oregon Unviersity (SOU) Raiders finished their regular season with an undefeated 10-0 record.

This the third time in SOU history that the school has finished with 10 or more wins.

The campus response was mixed. Some students were indifferent while others say it's a great win for the school and for school spirit.

"I think it's going to be really important for the culture at the university. I think there's been a little bit of downturn in our [school] culture as far as student spirit goes. I think the fact that we're undefeated so far is really good to hear." said Gabriel Braet, SOU Sophomore.

Braet also said that many high school football players were interested in going to SOU because of the team's success.

"I know a lot of students that are playing high school football, they really want to come here. For a small liberal arts college, we're doing pretty well," said Braet.

SOU's first football playoff game is against 9-1 record Dickinson State University on Saturday.

The game will be at SOU's stadium.
