SOU Salvages Win Over Knights in OT

Southern Oregon's Matt Boudreaux tipped in the game-tying bucket on a baseline out-of-bounds play with three-tenths of a second left in regulation, and the ninth-ranked Raiders prevailed in overtime against No. 25 Warner Pacific, 104-98, on Friday night at Mountain Avenue Gym.
Boudreaux, making his SOU basketball debut after finishing out his senior season with the football team, didn't appear until the second half but finished with 12 points and four rebounds. Kenny Meyer led the way with 26, Ben DeSaulnier had 20 points and nine rebounds and Tristen Holmes totaled 19 points, 12 rebounds and five assists to lead the Raiders (9-5 overall, 4-1 Cascade Conference).
WPC (10-4, 5-1), which had a 12-point lead with nine minutes left, got 24 poitns apiece from Keaton Bankofier and Xavier Cannefax.
