Oregon Tech Sweeps Doubleheader at SOU

Men's Basketball: Mitchell Fink scored 29 of his career-high 42 points in the second half to bring Oregon Tech back from a 13-point deficit and deliver an 86-79 win over Southern Oregon in Cascade Conference action Wednesday night at Mountain Avenue Gym.

Behind Fink, the Owls (18-8, 11-5 CCC) shot 23-of-37 from the field in the second half. He finished up at 17-of-26, adding six assists and four rebounds.

The Raiders (15-8, 10-4) were led by Jordan Hunt's 19 points and seven boards. The loss was their first at home in conference play.

Women's Basketball: Megan Morris scored 20 points and helped Oregon Tech shoot 49 percent in its 78-70 upset of No. 9 Southern Oregon on Wednesday night at Mountain Avenue Gym.

The loss marked the end of a 13-game win streak for SOU (20-2 overall, 12-2 Cascade Conference), which had an early eight-point lead but finished at a 32-percent clip from the field (24-of-75).

The Owls (18-8, 11-5) got 16 points and six assists off the bench from Abby Kreiser, who made eight straight free throws down the stretch.
