The Junior had previously played baseball at Southwestern Oregon Community College.

In 2016, Pearce was initially signed on a 10-day contract with the Rogues. Since, he pitched over 100 innings, earned over 10 wins and was named a Great West League All-Star, not to mention pitched in back-to-back GWL Championship series'.
