After surrendering six runs in the top of the ninth inning to the Portland Pickles on Tuesday night and ultimately falling 12-10, the Rogues had other plans for game three of the playoff series.

Medford used some big bats with home runs courtesy of Braden Stutzman and Jake Hellweg, defeating the Pickles 12-6 and clinching a Great West League Championship series berth.

The Rogues led Portland 9-0 after the first two innings.

Ashland's Peyton Fuller got the start for the Rogues on the mound as Medford used five pitchers to get the win.

Each Rogue registered a hit on the night, as the team finished with 15.

Johnny DeLaCruz went 2-4 with three runs and Hellweg two hits and two RBI.

Medford will meet with Chico in a rematch of the 2016 GWL Championship series.

Medford visits Chico for game one on Friday. Game two and three (if necessary) are at Harry & David Field on Saturday and Sunday.
